New Human Rights Learning Object from IRISS

Written by Kate Cameron and Mel Cadman from the Glasgow School of Social Work, this new learning object presents an illustrated narrative setting out the historical context of human rights from the French Revolution and the US Declaration of Independence, through the aftermath of the Second World War and theĀ  Universal Declaration of Human Rights to the passing of the UK Human Rights Act 1998.

This object is released today, the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
